Taipei Medical University (TMU) has once
again demonstrated excellence in nursing education and research, securing the
27th position globally in the 2025 QS World University Rankings by Subject for
Nursing. TMU remains the highest-ranked nursing program in Taiwan and has
maintained a position in the global top 30 for the second consecutive year.
Since first entering the QS global top 50
in 2022, TMU’s College of Nursing has consistently maintained its strong
standing, reflecting Taiwan’s growing competitiveness in higher education
within the international nursing field. This achievement highlights the
university’s commitment to advancing education, research, and industry
collaboration.
Dean Pei-Shan Tsai of TMU’s College of
Nursing emphasized that the university benefits from an extensive healthcare
system comprising one university and seven affiliated medical institutions.
With strong institutional support, the college continues to enhance teaching
innovation and research quality. Recent efforts have particularly focused on
interdisciplinary academic and industry collaborations, resulting in a steady
increase in externally funded research projects and high-impact publications.
These scholarly contributions hold significant practical and scientific value,
with citation rates rising substantially. Additionally, employer recognition of
TMU nursing graduates and a strong academic reputation among global nursing
peers have been key factors in maintaining its top-tier ranking.
